Vacuum packaging

The packaging table and machine assist the operator to manually pack coin rolls into prefabricated plastic bags for vacuum packaging. Natural to integrate with one of our coin roll lifts and loader.

Shrink wrapping

Our fully automatic packaging line for shrink wrapping coin rolls into plastic film is probably the most cost efficient way to pack coin rolls. Available in two versions, with infeed either from the right hand side or from the left hand side, and as an option you can add on a thermal printer for prints on the plastic film.

Coin sachet machine

If you want a cost efficient alternative to putting coins in rolls or simply handling loose coins - the coin sachet machine might be an option for you.

With this solution you reduce bank charges for handling and bagging loose cash. No change of rolls for different denominations is necessary, since all sachets are made from a standard roll of plastic film. You can easily change size of the bag accordingly, without any major production stops.  The system is very flexible and can be combined with a loose coin lift and a bulk-bagging unit. For volume processing and packaging of coins at large cash centres the choice would be a complete processing line. The range of packaging solutions is based on the well renowned BDO coin sachet machine, verified by customers world wide.

Pallet and cage loader

The pallet loader and the cage loader has the same aim - to help you maximise efficiency when loading either pallets or cages with shrink wrapped coin rolls, coin boxes or coin bags. They use either vacuum or gripping tools to place the bags or boxes in programmed patterns on the pallet or in the box. As option you can add checkweigher and receipt printer, and add functions to reject damaged packages.

Two basic configurations to start with

Conveyor system (SC 93770)

Handles large quantities of coins after they have been sorted by the coin sorter SC Active 4000. Coins from the SC Active 4000 fall down onto conveyors transporting each denomination to its specific coin wagon SC 93400.

Transparent covers (for inspection) reduce noise level for increased comfort and can be lifted for easy access. Choose a system for two, four, six or eight denominations.

Multi Lane Conveyor System (SC 95800 MLC)

The multi conveor system saves space compared with single installations. It handles large quantities of coins after they have been sorted by two, three or four SC Active 4000 machines that are working together. The coins fall down onto conveyors, transporting each denomination to its specific cage or coin wagon (SC 93400). 

A master PC coordinates all SC Active 4000 to have an accurate batch stop. 

The system is easily operated and monitored on a PC-screen by the operator.

Coin Wagons and Containers

In order to move and store coins you need accurate equipment. Our solid coin wagons with noise reduction (and with plastic cover for protection and easy inspection) are constructed for swift integration to our other central cash equipment. The robust design vouches for a long life cycle. All our different models are constructed for easy integration with our other central cash equipment, such as the conveyor systems and lifts.

Coin Handling equipment

Coin lifts

SCAN COIN has a range of coin lifts and accessories that can be adapted and configured to best suit your business. Their basic aim is to transport large volumes of loose coins into a counter, sorter or packaging machine. They are contructed to be easy to maintain, service and move - and of course with the operators' personal safety in mind. The lifts are equipped with sensors that tell the machine to stop in case for instance if someone reaches for a coin while in operation. Transparant plastic covers helps prevent coins from falling off the lift, and also to facilitate supervision.

The coin lifts can also be configured to start automatically when the coin counter or sorter is started - all to facilitate your coin handling.

Coin Roll Lifts

The Coin Roll lifts are designed to receive coin rolls from either one or two coin wrappers. As will all other SCAN COIN equipment they are designed with the operators' personal safety in mind, and to meet your high demands on quality. As option, an extra button is available for the operator to start/stop the machine from a remote position (for example from the packaging table).

Distribution conveyors

The conveyors improve feeding and distribution when handling loose coins. They can be configured to feed and distribute loose coins from one infeed point to two outfeed positions.

Single point feeding system

This feeding system is used for transporting coins from one coin lift to three or four positions. Start and stop is handled by means of a level sensor. Its small distance between the outlets means that little space is used. This type of solution is normally used with a vibrating hopper for continuous operation.

Other types of equipment within this range are covers, used to reduce noice, dust and coin spillage.

Verifying equipment

In our product range you find checkweighers for sachets and for coin rolls. Limits of accepted measurements are pre-set, and the checkweighers automatically rejects the ones outside limits. Can be configured to one-, two-, three- or four-line configuration.

Checkweigher systems with labelling functions are available both for coin bags and coin roll packages. Not accepted (outside the set limits) bags/rolls are automatically rejected. The label printer and applicator can handle both thermo transfer and direct thermo. The following data can be printed on the labels: Fixed text, date and time, batch number, weight, item number and barcode. The printer can also export production data to an external computer.

Software

SC Supervisor System

Use SC Supervisor System, in order to monitor all machines and their activities during production, and to facilitate production changes and adjustments that may affect the whole or parts of the production line.

The SC Supervisor System is a PC based software platform with the aim to control, monitor and provide statistics from every possible set up of cash-handling machines, productions lines, from one single point.
