The Connect CDS: keep track, stay efficient
Identifying the right servicing and collection frequency is a decisive factor in the cost-effective operation of CDS. With the Connect CDS, you have an overview of all your CDS installations from one location, enabling you to schedule servicing and collection for maximum efficiency.

Status-seeking software
The Connect CDS software receives, interprets and displays signals sent by the connected CDS units. A CDS can be connected to the network either on-line, by dial up modem or via a wireless network.

Signals from the CDS units register events, such as deposits, a switch to supervisor mode, or when coin intake has reached a certain level. It is also possible to actively track the situation at specific units. You can at any time, or at scheduled intervals, check the status of one, several, or all CDS units via the software.

Receipt verification
Included in Connect CDS is also a receipt verification module that controls all CDS receipts before they are exchanged for cash. When cashing a receipt, a verifications is done to ensure it has not been exchanged towards cash before. If it has already been cashed, the cashier receives a notification. By using SCAN COIN's security receipt paper together with Connect CDS' receipt verification module and the counterfeit detector SC 1101/1102, fraud is no longer easy.
